Overview
Arian maintains a broad civil litigation practice, with substantial experience in antitrust, commercial, employment, environmental, securities, and tort matters. He has represented plaintiffs and defendants in federal and state courts, as well as JAMS and AAA arbitrations, across all phases of litigation.
Arian is a graduate of Northwestern Law School and Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service. After law school, Arian served as a law clerk to the Honorable Julia Smith Gibbons of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. Prior to joining NWA, Arian worked at litigation boutique Holwell Shuster & Goldberg LLP and in the litigation department of Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP.

- Epic Games, Inc. as part of multi-district antitrust litigation against Google concerning smartphone app distribution and in-app purchases, resulting in successful jury trial verdict
- Illumina, Inc. in connection with FTC antitrust enforcement action seeking to enjoin $8 billion vertical merger with GRAIL, Inc., resulting in successful trial verdict.
- A major media company in connection with multi-billion-dollar contract dispute regarding streaming services, resulting in successful arbitration award.
- Root, Inc. in connection with class action securities litigation, resulting in dismissal of all claims.
- Colgate-Palmolive Co. in connection with appeal of class action litigation alleging ERISA violations.
- Chubb in connection with nationwide insurance coverage litigation arising out of the opioid epidemic.
- HSBC and U.S. Bank National Association as Trustees in connection with multiple RMBS litigations, each with hundreds of millions of dollars at issue.
