Patrick is of counsel at NWA. Patrick brings over fifteen years of experience representing plaintiffs and defendants in complex commercial litigation and arbitration across the United States and Europe. He also has significant expertise in corporate and transactional matters.
Patrick’s practice spans a wide range of areas, including general commercial disputes, contract and tort claims, internal and government investigations, art law, and deal litigation. Patrick has advised clients from various industries, including financial institutions, artists, art galleries, blockchain companies, fashion designers, hedge funds, and high net worth individuals. He guides them through all stages of litigation and arbitration with practical and strategic insight.
A veteran lawyer, Patrick previously was associated with Dewey & LeBoeuf LLP and Dontzin Nagy & Fleissig LLP. He also worked as a law clerk for the Honorable Christine M. Arguello of the District of Colorado and as Vice President (Legal) for Praedium Group. His experience as in-house counsel gives him a different perspective from many litigators that allows him to better understand needs of and advise his clients.

- Helped secure complete victory in two-week bench trial for world-renowned artist in tortious interference case in the Northern District of Illinois.
- On behalf of major financial institution in Massachusetts federal court, assisted in securing summary judgment on fraud and breach of fiduciary duty seeking tens of millions of dollars in damages.
- Helped secure summary judgment for medical supply company in Copyright Act dispute in the Eastern District of New York.
- Assisted in representing international art gallery in multimillion-dollar fraud case, achieving a full dismissal on appeal in New York State court.
- Played key role in negotiating favorable settlement for hedge fund manager in case involving a forged Jackson Pollock artwork in New York state court.
- Identified critical weakness in case against investment advisor in New York state court, leading to multimillion-dollar settlement in favor of client.
